Week 33 2011

This week’s bit of fun:

This is an oldie and was sent by an Irish person in Ireland:

It's 2012 and it's the Olympics in East London . A Scotsman, an Englishman and an Irishman want to get in, but they haven't got tickets.

The Scotsman picks up a manhole cover, tucks it under his arm and walks to the gate. "McTavish, Scotland" he says, "Discus" and in he walks. The Englishman picks up a length of scaffolding and slings it over his shoulder. "Waddingon-Smythe, England" he says, "Pole vault" and in he walks. The Irishman looks around and picks up a roll of barbed wire and tucks it under his arm. "O'Malley, Ireland," he says, "Fencing".

Wednesday and Thursday: were spent recording the latest episode of the ICQPODCAST. This is episode number 85, not long before we make triple figures.

Saturday: was Colin’s and my birthday. It started with my son Lee and granddaughter visiting. Carole, Lee , Isabelle and I had breakfast in the local cafe. I spent the middle of the day in the local library before collecting Carole from work.

Carole and I made our way to Littlehampton which is on the south coast of England for the evening. On arrival we did some Geocaching before having a great curry. We got home around 23:00 local. All in all a great day.

Sunday: Colin released the latest episode of the ICQPODCAST.
